Laminators love them (and have for years).
Our laminating substrate fabrics are constructed of single
jersey or double jersey utilizing natural fibers, blends and
pure synthetics in spun yarns or continuous filament.
Fabrics are produced to meet customer needs for widths up
to 70 inches or to less than 56 inches for use in specialty
laminates, and can be finished with wide full continuous gum
or, if desired, with no gum. They are packaged on three-inch
core tubes with up to 1000 yards per roll.
A good description as far as it goes. But heres the
really good stuff:
Our double jersey constructions result in substrate fabrics
that completely stop not inhibit or reduce, but stop
zippering.
They can be manufactured incorporating mesh or other structures
to contribute to the aesthetics of the final laminated product.
And they can even be constructed to control the degree of
stretch required in the final product.
In sum, Domestic Fabrics has long worked with laminators
and coaters throughout the United States and Canada to develop
fabrics, finishing techniques and packaging that precisely
meet their needs.
